TAKE NOTICE that the Rockwood City Council will hold its regular meeting on May 18, 2026 at 6:00 PM at Rockwood City Hall, 110 North Chamberlain Avenue, Rockwood, Tennessee. Items under consideration include:
(1) Request to Amend the Zoning Code of Rockwood, Tennessee, by amending Section 14-203.
Definitions: The following definitions shall be added: Data Center. A data center is a secure, physical facility or dedicated space used to house, power, and cool large amounts of computer systems, servers, and networking equipment. It acts as a centralized, high-tech storage and processing hub for organization’s digital data, applications and internet infrastructure. (2) Request Amending the “Zoning Code of Rockwood, Tennessee” by Amending Section 14-410 M-1, Light Industrial District to Include Data Center as a Permitted Use by the Board of Zoning Appeals. A Public Hearing will be held on the Aforesaid Zoning Changes.
