Rockwood’s Tom Fuller “Waterfront” Park is comprised of approximately 55 acres that includes a boat ramp with ample parking, fishing piers, floating docks, a swimming area, picnic tables, comfort station with bathrooms, and a pavilion.

The city plans to continue to enhance the park over the next few years with additional parking and a new boat ramp. These improvements will increase opportunities for additional fishing tournaments.

Other planned projects include an improved beach area for swimming, beach volleyball, horseshoes, corn hole, more picnic areas, pavilions, and additional walking trails.

The lakefront park is now connected to Gateway Avenue via a 2.5-mile greenway trail, sidewalks, and bike lanes. The trailhead (comfort station) consists of ADA compliant bathrooms and parking,  drinking fountain, and bike rack. The city believes the greenway connector will encourage more people of all ages, including handicapped persons, to visit and enjoy the lake, while providing locals, including the youth, with a safe environment to walk and bike as a form of exercise and recreation. Tom Fuller “Waterfront” Park is a great addition to Rockwood’s Park and Recreation.
