Court & Citation News Update Concerning COVID-19
Appearing in person for Rockwood Municipal Court is currently back on schedule. If you received a citation and it includes violations concerning insurance, light law, registration, driver license, you may provide documentation to court clerk prior to court date. These documentations can be emailed to susan.thomas@cityofrockwood.com.
We are also offering phone hearings with the judge on moving violations. If this option works for you, please call us at (865) 354-0611 so we can get your phone number and put your citation in special file. If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact us.

If you have received a summons or citation, it requires you to appear in person before the Municipal Court of Rockwood, Tennessee on the date written on your ticket, unless you wish to plead guilty and pay your fine and costs by mail, online, or at City Hall at 110 N. Chamberlain Avenue before your court date
If you wish to plead guilty without coming to court, follow these steps:
Sign your name to the “Appearance Plea and Waiver” on the back of your ticket AND include a money order, cashier check, or personal check payable to:

Warning: If you fail to appear in court or your payment has not been received by your court date, a failure to appear fee of $50.00 will be added to costs/fines. Also, your driver license may be suspended.
