Rockwood Public Works is looking for one or two part-time laborers who are willing to work their way into a possible full-time position. Being hired full-time is based upon performance and attendance. Full time benefits include individual health, dental, vision & life insurance and retirement. This is semi-skilled and some skilled work providing general assistance to public works road, sidewalk, and ditch maintenance, mowing, and construction crews. Activities associated with the job include, (but are not limited to) : performing manual labor, mowing, weed eating, trimming and cutting trees, assisting with road work and directing traffic. Applications will be received until positions are filled.
