Due to much needed and expensive repairs, the opening of the city pool will be delayed. Due to extenuating circumstances the pool could be closed all season. We will keep the public updated on any changes. Sadly, the pool will definitely not be open in time for Swim Team purposes. The City has received grant funds to help pay for the repairs. However, the repairs can only be done according to grant rules and timeline. In addition, the funds will not pay for all the needed repairs, so other decisions may be required as we go through the process. We are so sorry for the inconvenience. We will work with grant administrators to speed up the process if at all possible.
